GitHub Account Information

When you use Webdraft, we access your repository data (files, branches, commits) directly from GitHub's API using your access token. This data is processed in your browser and is not stored on our servers.

AI Processing

When you use the AI assistance features, the code you select and your prompts are sent to the AI provider you've configured (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic). These providers have their own privacy policies governing how they handle your data.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect or receive:

  • To facilitate account creation and the login process via GitHub OAuth.
  • To access your GitHub repositories and enable you to browse, edit, and commit changes.
  • To provide AI assistance when explicitly requested by you.

Webdraft is designed with a "client-first" approach to privacy:

  • Your GitHub access tokens are stored exclusively in your browser's local storage and are never transmitted to our servers.

  • When you use AI features, code is transmitted directly from your browser to the AI provider you've configured.
